1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Pace time tracking service (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use this Service. By using Pace, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

3. Description of Service

Pace is a minimalist time-tracking tool for freelancers. The free tier operates primarily on local browser storage. Pro tier features (cloud sync, unlimited projects, PDF generation) require a paid subscription.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Subscription fees are billed on a recurring basis — either monthly or annually, depending on the plan you select — via our payment processor, Stripe. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Monthly subscriptions are not eligible for prorated refunds for partial billing periods. Annual subscriptions are non-refundable once the billing period has begun.

5. Limitation of Liability

Pace is provided “as is” and “as available”. In no event shall Pace or its operators be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your access to or use of the Service.

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of any material changes via email or an in-app notification.

7. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used for abusive purposes. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.

8. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of all time-tracking data you input into Pace. The Pace name, logo, and software are the intellectual property of Pace and may not be reproduced without permission.
